The Danish Action Plan for BSRBCC had 4 operational activities and 3 training seminars
During the operations Baltic Approach I and II which were held in April and September, the MS of BSRBCC focused controls on sea or land borders. The participating MS had the possibility to exchange liaison officers during the operations.
In June the BSRBCC MS focused customs control of cruise liners in the Baltic Sea. During the 2 weeks 86 ships were controlled by customs officers in the MS.
The multipurpose maritime operation Baltic Approach was held in June 2019. During the operation FRONTEX supported the MS. The support included air surveillance by Maritime Air Surveillance Fix Wing.
During all operations the participating MS reported their national results to the Danish Presidency.
Two training events were held in Denmark, a Document Seminar was held in June 2019. The focus of the seminar had been breeder documents, which means documents following a person or an object.
A Seminar on the control of ships took place in September. The seminar was partly training in class – sharing of best practice or national practice - and partly, on the second day, a practical part where the participants carried out exercises regarding the control of crew members on ships
A third training event, detection of stolen vehicles seminar, was arranged by the German Federal Police Directorate Bad Bramstedt in September 2019. The seminar was party training in class as well as control of vehicles on German highway.
At the conference of the Heads of BSRBCC the Danish Presidency presented the final results of the activities of BRSBCC in 2019 and the Annual Threat Assessment based on contributions the results were achieved due to a great engagement and active participation in the various activities by the member states of BSRBCC.
